Synopsis
Individual pieces of human emotion usually take form as flowers known as "Fragments." The select few who possess strong enough Fragments can become "Reflectors," beings who equip specialized rings that allow them to connect their thoughts, memories, and emotions to those whose feelings waver. There are two types of Reflectors—those who wear blue rings to protect those falling into depravity by preserving their Fragments, and those who wear red rings to prevent negative emotions by stealing the Fragments of those who begin to develop severe woe.
Despite wanting to socialize with people around her, transfer student Ruka Hanari's shy and introverted personality always gets in her way. In a chance encounter, however, she bumps into a woman who happens to drop a blue ring as she hurries away. Unable to return it, Ruka brings it back with her to her dorm. Chapter 2. How we met
Luca's POV:
It was raining pretty hard outside. I couldn't go to sleep so instead I grabbed my notebook and started to draw. Out of nowhere I heard a loud noise which had made me fall out of my bed. "Ouch... my back..." I muttered. I wasn't sure if I should run to the open my window and see what was going on or if I should run and hide. I sat on the floor until my alarm clock went off signaling that it was time for me to get up. "I guess it's nothing..." I said to myself shrugging it off before grabbing my notebook and shoving it inside my bag. I got ready for the day and left the house without saying goodbye to my father as he was still sleeping.
Issacs Pov:
I woke up pretty early mostly in my house it's always noisy and it gets really annoying, it was probably my father and his workers. Let me tell you, my father is a leader and a lot of people call my family monsters because of what we are. We would always moved frequently as many people wanted to hurt us are always after us. It's quite difficult to keep what we are a secret. I'm not saying we like to hurt people but we sometimes have our reasons as to why we need to. I don't have anger problems it's just when I'm mad I can't control it, my parents get really afraid especially my younger brother and sister. They're just afraid that something can happen. Luca's POV:
School was only half day today so I just went straight to school and when it had ended I went to work. I would always have to walk there since I didn't have a car but that's fine for me. I work at a restaurant well it was more so a cafe. There weren't many people here so it was a slow day. I put my umberalla aside to let it dry and started taking orders from customers. I heard someone's voice and looked up, for some reason my face started turning red as if I was blushing and I couldn't talk as I was shy.
Issac's POV: When I got up and got ready I went downstairs greeting my family with a good morning. I didn't really want to eat breakfast here so I headed somewhere else to grab some breakfast. It was raining when I headed out but I just grabbed my helmet and got on my motorcycle to start riding to a small cafe. I don't really know this place but it'll have to do. I parked my motorcycle and took my helmet off. I went in and looked around before going to the counter to order. "Hi, can I get a coffee to go?" I asked looking at the male working the counter. I could see the change in color of the male's face as he looked up at me. He couldn't even talk as if he had malfunctioned. His shyness was awfully cute to look at.

chapter 1 Who are you?
My name is Luca and this is my story. I should first tell you a few things about myself. My mother died when I was younger due to an accident. My mom was nicest and kindest. People that knew her was very sad that she died. My father couldn’t even look at me because I look just like her. He became depressed to the point where he didn't want to work, so I had to get a job. I didn't really love it but I also didn't really hate it. I always work after school, oh my breask I would do my homework and some other students who had paid me to do their. I was okey with it because I have nothing better to do. So why not? I really needed the money but I couldn’t tell my father that I had a job and people are we’re paying me to their homework. He would be fruious at me, so I have to keep a secret. I am a senior in high school. I don't really have friends and the only friends I have are my books. Aleksey and his men drive a refrigerated white van, marked with a red cross, to carry out their work. They often drive towards danger to collect the bodies and remains of dead Ukrainian and Russian troops and civilians.
"We work with no days off. Constantly. We drive, we investigate, we transport, we search, all the time," he says.
It's grim work too - digging up the decomposing bodies of Russian soldiers buried in shallow trenches, or gathering their remains from burnt out armoured vehicles.
According to the United Nations, more than 5,000 Ukrainian civilians have been killed since Russia invaded in February.
There are no official figures for how many Ukrainian troops have died. But one adviser to President Zelensky told the BBC last month that between 100-200 Ukrainian soldiers were being killed every day. On average it's at the lower end of that scale.
Aleksey says that figure sounds realistic to him. But he believes the Russians are losing three times that number.
One Ukrainian soldier we spoke to, who had fought in Severodonetsk, described Russian tactics as similar to the First World War - with waves of their infantry running into a hail of bullets.

Who does Aleksey think is winning the war? "It's not about who is winning," he says. "It's about who's right. They [Russia] came here and that was unforgivable".
Every Ukrainian soldier we spoke to said they still believed they could win. Even in units that had suffered combat casualties of more than half of the troops.
But it's taking its toll on the living as well as the dead. Aleksey hasn't seen his one-year-old daughter for months.
"This war has ruined the life you had and the one you've been building," he says.
He adds that at the end of the day it all catches up: "That feeling when you are empty inside. The unfillable void".

Tina used to work at a children's hospital before she volunteered to join the army. She wipes away tears as she talks about the family she's now missing.
"The pain goes away, because you have a task: to get a person to a hospital alive" she says. I ask if she's scared. "Of course it's scary. When a shell lands nearby, everything shrinks inside you".
For every soldier killed many more are injured. Tina says she's not allowed to give numbers but adds "there are casualties almost every day, and not just one. Sometimes many, sometimes a lot".

But Polina admits it's hard not to feel gloomy and depressed: "Apart from the bullets flying over your head, wounded people - and those wounded are often my friends and buddies - if you're taking it to heart it's going to be tough".
It's the troops she treats who give her hope.

Actually I was going to instantly drop this because I hated the first 7 minutes, then right as I was dropping
it it just turned the tables by making the mc change his mood in a way that I haven’t seen before.
